മൂലമറ്റം പവർഹൗസ് ഷട്ട്ഡൗൺ ചെയ്തു. ഇന്നുമുതൽ ഒരു മാസത്തേക്കാണ് നിലയം അടച്ചിടുന്നത്. അടിയന്തര അറ്റകുറ്റപ്പണികൾക്കായി ഡിസംബർ 10 വരെ നിലയം അടച്ചിടും.

മൂലമറ്റം പവർഹൗസിലെ ആറ് ജനറേറ്ററുകളുടെയും പ്രവർത്തനം നിർത്തിവെച്ചു. നിലയം അടച്ചിടുമ്പോഴും സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് വൈദ്യുതി പ്രതിസന്ധി ഉണ്ടാവില്ലെന്ന് കെഎസ്ഇബി അറിയിച്ചു.
